Goodbye and Good Luck!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for all your good wishes and the lovely gifts.

It has been a very busy term with the children engaging in lots of wonderful activities!

We have had a lovely time getting to know everyone and seeing the children grow in confidence in so many ways.

Have a lovely summer - we will miss everyone next term but know that the children will have a wonderful time in their new Reception class and look forward to hearing about their progress as they continue on their learning journey.

Goodbye and good luck from all the Nursery staff!

Monday 15 July 2013

A little reminder for the week . . .

  • It looks as though the warm weather is set to continue - please apply sun screen to the children before they come to nursery each day, and ensure that they have a sun hat with them (clearly named).
  • Can we please ask that all parents have a good 'check' around at home for any books from nursery that have not yet been returned - many thanks.

  • Please can we remind everyone to ensure that they take all belongings home with them this week - including wellies etc. - in preparation for the summer holiday. Thank you.

Competition Results!

We would like to say a huge "THANK YOU" to all children and parents, both from Nursery and Reception, that so kindly put in the time and effort to create an unusual floral container for our entry into the competition. We are delighted to announce that once again, we have been awarded first place!

We were also thrilled to hear that the school Wildlife Garden came third in their category and two of our school pupils also did really well, with Tilly being awarded the 'Young Gardener Award', and Miles being 'Highly Commended' - congratulations and well done.

Star of the Week!

Our Stars of the Week for last week were Eva and Kacper. Congratulations and well done to both of you!

Monday 8 July 2013

A little reminder for the week . . .

  • Tomorrow night is the Open Evening for the school - we would love to see you and your family, so do come to the Nursery and say hello, and have a look at all the wonderful things the children have been up to this term!
  • We have our Sports Day on Thursday afternoon (as the rain prevented our planned one previously!). Hopefully the weather will stay fine and dry, but please ensure that your child is protected from the sun. It will be important for them to have sun screen applied before they come to Nursery, and they will also need a sun hat (clearly named please!).
  • The Judges for the unusual container competition came last Wednesday - we have not heard anything yet, but once we are informed of the results we will let you know. Thank you once again to  everyone that contributed - they all looked great when displayed together, we appreciated all your good ideas and hard work.

Star of the Week!

Our Stars of the Week for last week were Eloise F and Joel. Congratulations and well done to both of you!

Monday 1 July 2013

A little reminder for the week . . .

  • We would like to wish all our children good luck as they have their Reception Class Induction Sessions this week - we will be thinking of you and know that you will have lots of fun!
  • Thank you so much for the unusual container contributions - judging takes place on Wednesday and we will obviously let you know the results once we receive them.
  • The rain last Thursday meant that we unfortunately had to postpone our Sports Day. This will now take place next Thursday instead (11.07.13)

Star of the Week!

Our Stars of the Week for last week were Miley, Amelia W,  Teri-Rose and Ella. Congratulations and well done to all of you.
