Star of the Week!

Our Stars of the Week for last week were George and Poppy M, well done to both of you! 

Flower fun!

This week we have been thinking about the flowers that grow in our garden and the school grounds. For one of our activities we compared the height of different flowers and tried to order them from the tallest to the shortest! We also labelled the different parts of a flower and made a start on creating our new 'Flower Pot Shop' structured play area - we have been busy!

Star of the Week!

Our Stars of the Week for last week were Alex and Ryan, well done to both of you! 

How does your garden grow?

It has been lovely seeing everyone again after the Easter holiday, and we are all looking forward to the new term ahead!
This week we have read the story 'In Wibbly's Garden' which we really enjoyed. Henry Bear (who lives in the Nursery) wanted to grow a beanstalk just like Wibbly Pig so that he could go in search of giants! We have helped him to plant some beans and are going to look after them so that we can watch them grow and have a beanstalk race - we will let you know how they get on later in the term!

Wriggly Worms

We were hungry birds today and searched for wriggly worms. We found red, purple, black, brown and green 'worm!' The red and purple ones the the easiest to spot but the green and brown were tricky to find as these were camouflaged.
We also enjoyed playing in our willow den which is sprouting lots of knew leaves.

We got a bit muddy making mud pies again too!
