Star of the Week

Our final children in 2016 to be awarded 'Star of the Week' were Mila, Sam and Lola.

Well done and congratulations to all of you.

When we return in January, as well as a new term it will be a new year!

We are looking forward to lots 

more 'Stars' in 2017!

Happy Christmas!

We had a very exciting final week of term . . .

There was lots of fun and laughter at our Christmas party

And on the last day of term we had a very special visitor!

He brought us a great new workbench and a wonderful dressing-up dragon for the Nursery.

 We hope you liked the cards that we made you!

This has been the final Julia Donaldson book that we have shared together this term as part of our Author focus.

It was a great one to finish with - particularly as Santa made an appearance!

Star of the Week!

Last week, Joshua G was awarded our 'Star of the Week'.

A Starry Night!

Having talked about the special star that guided the way to the Stable in Bethlehem, we have been thinking about the stars that we see up in the sky at night.

Some of us chose to paint our star . . .

Other's tried out marble rolling.

It was fun exploring string prints . . . 

Some of us used metallic pens.







While others chose the wax crayons . . . 

Our stars look great in the corridor display!

Christmas Counts!

Along with the two Reception Classes, we have been performing our Nativity - 

Christmas Counts! 

We had our individual photographs taken in front of the Christmas tree . . . 

The Nursery children played the parts of the sheep and the angels.

We hope you all enjoyed our performance - it would be great if you could post us a comment and let us know!

Last week, Ben G, Albie and Harry W were all awarded our 'Star of the Week'.

A Special Delivery . . .

We had a very exciting morning  . . . 

 Father Christmas arrived at school in a fire engine!

 He stopped off to give us a wave on his way to the Grotto ready for the Christmas Fair after school.

Later on in the day, two wonderful Christmas Donkeys came to visit as well.

We hope you all enjoyed the Fair - what a wonderful start to the festive season!
