Matching Bears and Bowls!

We have been talking about the different sized bears and used the computer to match them to their corresponding bowls and spoons so that they could enjoy their porridge!

The children have experienced lots of different size related vocabulary - here is a selection of the words that they used:

'Big, medium, small, huge, large, tiny,
little, smaller'

How would you have described each
different size?

Let us know!

Porridge Party!

Everyone enjoyed the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears so much that we decided to have our own 'porridge party'!
We invited our bears and took them for a walk while the porridge cooled down . . .

There were three different types of fruit that we added as a topping, and everyone chose which was their favourite . . .
Which one would you have enjoyed the most?

Post us a comment and let us know.

The children have helped Goldilocks to write an apology letter to the Three Bears and they have had fun constructing different sized beds, chairs and tables!

Star of the Week!

Congratulations to Jackson, Serenna, Alfie D and Zara for all being awarded our
'Star of the Week'.

Well done everyone!

WANTED!

In one of the versions of Little Red Riding Hood that we shared together, the wolf ran away.
We thought we should make some posters to warn everyone what he looked like!

Other descriptions included the following:

"Big ears, big googly eyes and sharp toes!" (Olivia)

"Big ears, fire eyes and big whiskers" (Noah)

"Terrible eyes, terrible teeth and terrible claws!" (Amelia)

What information would you have included on your poster?
