On Tuesday we brought in a wonderful selection of flowers to celebrate May Day and used these to inspire some great art work.
We have also been creating 'shape flowers' and copied, continued and created repeating colour sequences using flowers!
On Friday, we watched a video clip on 'Let's Celebrate' (CBeebies) all about Shelin preparing for and celebrating the Buddhist festival of Wesak. We had our own procession outside afterwards and thought of the Buddha who sat under the Bodhi tree - he taught everyone to be kind and good and to live very happily!
