Father Christmas has delivered some lovely presents for the Nursery . . .

We hope that he has been to visit you too and that you all have a very special day and enjoy spending time with your family and friends.

We would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful new year!

Congratulations to Christopher for being awarded our 'Star of the Week' -

the last one for 2017.

We have been making cards to

celebrate Christmas . . .

We used our hand print for the manger then painted on some straw.

Next we added thumb prints and drew on a face for Baby Jesus. Finally we created the very special star!

We have had a very exciting morning - with a very special visitor!

As if it wasn't exciting enough to see all the snow, Santa arrived at school and we all went outside to welcome him.

He gave everybody a wave, and then he gave the Nursery children a very special treat . . .

He came over to meet them!

Thank you Santa - we really appreciated it - we know you are very busy at this time of year!

We have been so proud of all the children this week as they have taken part in our Early Years Foundation Stage Nativity.

We have been making some lovely decorations to hang on our Christmas tree!

After we had made some cinnamon dough, we rolled it out and chose which cutter we wanted to use.

We selected from a range of mark-making tools to add some patterns.

When they had dried out, we added our choice of ribbon - and now they are ready to hang on the tree!
