What Wonderful Weather!

 What wonderful weather for planting trees. It was dry today and the sunshine even came out this afternoon!

We planted 20 saplings today. A sapling is a very young tree. We enjoyed digging holes for the saplings before covering the roots with soil and watering them into the ground

 We planted different types of trees including
birch, hazel, rowan, crab apple, hawthorn and elder. We are looking forward to seeing them grow healthy and strong.

Today was also our first time playing in our wooden wigwam. It was great fun and we travelled all over the world in it!
