The Vegetable Garden . . .

This week we have been for a walk up to the school vegetable garden!

"Look - a big pumpkin!"

"I can see a sign - there's writing on it"

"I've found tomatoes!"

When we got back, we played a 'feely bag' game and described some different vegetables - Louis was really good at this and gave us some great descriptions:

Carrot - "Hard and cold, they crunch when you eat them"

Potato - "Cold and round, it has skin on"

Swede - "It feels heavy and it's cold and it's round"

Perhaps you could play this game at home - we'd love to hear your different descriptive words - let us know which ones you thought of  and which were your favourite vegetables!
