We have been finding out about St George and how he saved the princess from the dragon!
It was great fun trying out some jousting - we had some very skillful knights!
On St George's Day afternoon, we had a special celebration and after watching some of the older children act out the story, Mr Morris cut the ribbon to open our new castle play area . . .
The sun was shining as we had a lovely picnic on the school field - and played some princess related ring games!

ReplyDeleteMy knight In shining armour. For some reason Elijah failed to mention rescuing a princess that day. Obviously all in a day's work and so he didn't feel the need to comment!
