We've been designing puppets . . .

Having seen Noah's lovely puppet Sweep, we thought the children might like to design their own puppet!

Some are going to make a sock puppet . . .

Lydia is going to paint bottle tops for eyes and sellotape them on. "He's going to have a big, big nose!" Lydia chose some "soft" felt for the nose, and wool for the "long pink hair" Her puppet is going to be called Amy!

Corey has chosen the name Puppet John. He also chose to use wool for the hair and bottle top eyes, but he is going to use a button for the nose and tissue paper for the mouth. Corey is going to glue everything on.

Other children are going to use a
wooden spoon . . .

Poppy wants to use cotton wool for the hair on her puppet, with wool for the eyes and mouth, big button hands and a painted yellow fairy! Her puppet is going to be named Foo-foo!

Emily has decided to name her puppet Mum! She is going to use buttons for the eyes and mouth, wool for the hair and tissue paper for the mouth. Emily is going to glue everything on.

Would you choose a sock or a spoon to make your puppet? What would it look like?
