To link in with our focus on Jasper's Beanstalk this week, we had lots of fun with our number rhyme - 'Five Green Beanstalks'!
As well as locating / recording the numeral to represent how many beanstalks would be left after each verse, the children went on a 'leaf hunt'! On their return, we counted the leaves to see how many they had, compared who had 'more' or 'fewer' and then worked together to sequence the numerals on them to create our new number line.
Now they will be looking to see if the numbers stay in the right order each day!
