We recently enjoyed the story of Jasper's Beanstalk and have been using some pictures from the story to sequence the beginning, middle and end.
Jasper was left looking for giants in the book, but we thought it would be fun to change the ending and imagine what might happen if he went up a different beanstalk and found something else!
Here are just a few of the children's ideas
of what Jasper might find . . .
"A gnome" (Noah)
"A mouse" (Alisha)
"Money!" (Sam)
"A hungry caterpillar" (Lottie)
We have put all of their ideas together in a book of 'alternative endings' and added it to our display.
We would love to hear your ideas too!
What great things to find!
